Midi controller I have been thinking what would be best for Massive and Monark, have looked at many many options, I am clueless.
Komplete 9 (amazing value but really right now I just want to play with some synths, I really like the look of Monark though, and have Massive already) Korg Volca Series (look great, but not available for some time, and how useful are they really?) Something like Mutable Instruments Shruthi-1 / Meeblip (don't know much about it them) Microkorg (like the look, though compared to Mininova, specs and layout are lacking)īlofeld desktop(maybe too complex? and not that many knobs, hmm) Novation Mininova (looks great value and well thought out, not sure about it for some reason though) I would just love to hear some discussion on this, as Maschine will be the center of my 'studio' and would love users opinions. Though I want to stay ITB as much as possible due to space and cost. I want making music to be fun for me, and staring at a screen and using a mouse is not, I do that all day every day. Sound quality will be of upmost importance to me in time, though for now I just want to learn and have fun. My music will include hip-hop rhythms, lots of effects and synths, some ambient and IDM influences.
I am 30 years old and very new to making music, it will be a long term hobby, and I want to get better with the hope of eventually creating something good enough to release one day. Hands-on control is a must for me to jam and have fun and learn.
#Bcr 2000 and blofeld how to
I want to start playing around and learning how to use synths. Thus I am very happy to use my Behringer DT 770 Pro's with my Macbook Pro. I do not have an audio interface or monitors, due to space and cost and my living circumstances, so please take this into consideration when giving options. I have been researching for months on what to buy.
